If you live in the Wichita or El Dorado areas Satchell Creek Steaks is offering a fill a box sale today only. This is for good quality, grass fed meat. If you are a Savers Club member you pay $50 or $65 for everyone else to fill your box with as much beef, chicken, goat, or lamb as you can pack into the box. The rules state that you must use the box supplied by Satchell Creek and you must be able to fit the lid onto the box.
I just sent my husband to get in on this. I will let you know how much meat we end up with.
Thanks for all your posts! I love when you share local bargains! However, while this meat is likely better than grocery store meat, I wish it was grass-finished. Corn-finished typically results in lower levels of the healthy stuff....

I agree with you. I wish this beef was not corn finished, but I prefer it to conventional store bought meat. I am happy to support local farms and it is a great price, especially on Fill Your Freezer Fridays. I have found grass fed only beef, but it is still a bit out of our budget right now.
