I don't have anything too exciting planned this week. I am just trying to keep within budget this month and make healthy yet frugal meals. Here is what I came up with.
Breakfasts
Breakfast cake, fresh juice
Green smoothies
Eggs and toast, fruit or fresh juice
Maybe homemade cinnamon rolls, fruit
Lunches
Family lunch
Pb and J rollups, carrots
Rice, chicken and a veggie
Bean burritos with homemade tortillas, corn, fruit
Pumpkin or sweet potato pancakes, fresh fruit
Stacked quesadillas, salad
Leftovers
Dinners
Frozen pizza and pineapple (movie night with the kids. I sent my husband for dinner)
Burgers, oven fries
Apple, chicken wraps with homemade tortillas, salad
Beans, rice, beef, and veggies
Chicken fried rice with veggies
leftovers.
What's breakfast cake? Do you have a recipe?

Breakfast cake is basically baked oatmeal. We call it cake instead of oatmeal to get my 4 year old to eat it. She loves it with some maple syrup or honey on top. Here is a link to the recipe I use.

Yay for GREEN SMOOTHIES! YUM! Today, I made one with water, organic banana, orange, collard greens, and hemp protein powder. :)
