Organic Baby Items

I thought I would stick with the baby theme to go along with my previous post on organic baby food.

Do you have a baby on the way or do you need a shower gift? If you would like to find something natural or organic for that special baby then here is a list of things I found on Amazon today. My baby is almost 4 months old, but I may still have to look at getting her some of these things.

American Baby Receiving Blanket Mocha $9.99 (pictured above)

Kiddopotamus Organic Swaddle Blanket Ivory $16.45
I have found swaddle blankets to be very helpful with newborns. They stay covered up and you do not have to worry about the blanket getting caught over their face.

Bumkins Organic Bibs 3 pk Natural $6.63

Bumkins Organic Burp Cloths 2 pk Rose $6.67

Bumkins Organic Washcloth 3 pk Blue $7.95

Bumkins Organic Hooded Towel Set Sage Print $14.32

Evenflo Glass Bottles With Covers 4 oz 3pk $9.99
I have used glass bottles before and they are not too bad. The only issues I had with then were that they are a bit heavy and when a baby decides to throw his bottle onto a tile floor they break. I wish I would have had these with covers back then. On the other hand glass is easy to keep clean and it will not leach chemicals into your babies food.

Green Sprouts Stacking Cups Set $5.99

Green Sprouts Teething Keys $7.99

Amazon: Sensible Snacks

I had my daughter at the Dr this morning for her kindergarten physical. Things took much longer then I had anticipated and they all 3 started to get hungry and cranky. I am so glad that I happened to have a couple of bags of Sensible Snacks with me. The nurse was very impressed that the kids were snacking on organic corn and freeze dried fruit instead of gold fish or some other packaged snack. She even wanted to know were we had found them. I decided I would pass along the information to you as well.

There are 5 varieties of Sensible Snacks: Organic corn, Cherry Berry, Orchard Blend, Organic Apple Harvest and Tropical Fruit. My kids love all 5. I will admit that they are not the cheapest snack, but at least you know they are getting nothing but fruits and veggies. There is nothing else in the ingredient list. If you think about it they really are not that expensive. If you were to stop at a gas station or grocery store and buy your kids a snack you would be spending close to the same amount.

Right now you can order these products in 12 packs for $13.97 when you use subscribe and save.
Remember you will get free shipping with subscribe and save.

CamoCare Organics FREE Sample

CamoCare Organics is offering a free sample of their youth elixir. I could not find them in the Skin Deep database, but this company runs under the Natural Products Association.

Walmart: Organic Cotton Tanks For $3.50

Since having Charlotte 3 1/2 months ago I am still not fitting into my pre-pregnancy clothes. I had no problem after the first 2, but for some reason it is a bit harder this time. So I decided to take the plunge and buy some new clothes. I really did not want to spend a lot hoping that eventually I will be able to get back into my skinny clothes.

I decided to get some basic tanks for summer, but I was not willing to fight the crowds at Old Navy's $2 tank top sale tomorrow. I ended up at Walmart and found organic cotton tanks for only $3.50. I was so excited to see them that I ended up buying 8.

I could not find this deal online so it may only be in stores. It would be worth looking if you are wanting to get some cheap, organic clothes.

Another $10 Off Medco Code!

This morning I discovered that Medco has another $10 off coupon code that can be used on the same account even if you used the one I posted about last night. I have been able to order twice now. I sure hope they don't decide to cancel orders.

Use code TENOFF to get $10 off your order.

Has anyone been able to get any great deals with these codes?

Medco $10 Off Any Order Plus $.99 Shipping

Right now you can order any size order from Medco and get $10 off with $.99 shipping. I was able to get Kiss My Face kids toothpaste and Kiss My Face liquid soap for a total of $1.07! Enter coupon code MHS10 at checkout to get your discount.

If you like Seventh Generation products you can get $4 off when you order 4 products. I looked around and liners are $3.49 each.

Deal scenario...

Buy 4 packages of Seventh Generation liners $13.96
-$4 Seventh Generation discount
-$10 with MHS10 coupon code
$.99 shipping
Total should be around $.99 for 4 items!
